BUILDING INFORMATION MODELING

The management of construction projects arises the need for a perception of the project from three main perspectives: designer, builder and owner. The BIM-IPD (Building Information Modeling) is an evolutionary process, a working method that involves performing a parametric model that joins geometry, spatial relationships, geographic information, quantities and constructive properties of each stakeholder expertise, allowing to integrate the different specialties in a single model used to demonstrate the whole life cycle of the building, including construction processes and installation steps. It allows to identify and correct collisions, interference, errors in the design phase and get immediately amounts, details, cuts, views, elevations, features of materials and costs in its construction phase.
